Support Us

Tens of thousands of men and women are employed on mines throughout Australia. Out of the Pit seeks to meet the needs of these precious people. Many struggle with loneliness, and feel isolated from family and friends. We help them find Christian friends and a local church. Most have no relationship with Jesus. Our passion is that they have a living encounter with the Saviour. Others are trapped in destructive addictions and need the freedom found in Jesus. The opportunity for the Kingdom of God is truly awesome. We invite you to partner with us. Together as a team we can see the lives of thousands of miners, their families, and communities transformed by Jesus Christ.

1.       Prayer Warriors

Join our network of prayer warriors and see what God does when people pray. You will be amazed at the things God does in response to prayer. As a prayer warrior not only will you impact others, but you will experience real growth in your own faith level.  Your faith will increase as you see what God does in response to prayer.

We will email you powerful testimonies, answers to prayer, and prayer updates.

2.       Invest in the Kingdom

Giving is a wonderful way of being a vital part of this Kingdom ministry. Your generosity enables us to reach needy miners with God’s love. You may not be able to physically go to a mining site, but you can still be actively involved in what God is doing through your giving.

We need kingdom minded investors, who will invest with regular and one-off donations. Please download our financial support form to take the first step.

We do not hold tax-deductible status, but we are registered with the ATO as an income tax exempt charity.

3.    Get involved

The best way to get involved is to sign-on and introduce yourself on our forum. Simply saying hello has a big impact in letting others know they aren't alone. You might also want to share a story or a testimony, or ask a question. You might want to e-mail us a story, interesting article or photo to share on the site (so non-members can access it too).

If you come along to our annual conference, or one of our regional network meetings (stay tuned on the news feed), you will have a chance to meet others in the industry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Here you will have a chance to learn about and get involved with various ministries happening in the industry.
